WHY KEYWORDS MATTER

Recruiters search. Your resume has to be found.

Most companies run applications through an applicant tracking system (ATS). Recruiters then search it for the skills and tools in the job post — “Power BI”, “stakeholder management”, “Python” — and read the resumes that come up.

If you built dashboards but your resume says “made reports for the leadership team”, a search for “dashboards” can miss you, even though you did the work. That's the gap a keyword check finds: not missing experience, but missing words for experience you already have.

MORE THAN A LIST OF MISSING WORDS

Find the keywords. Keep every word true.

Most keyword checkers stop at a list. Jiffy CV also closes the gaps your experience can honestly cover.

Only keywords you can back up

Missing skills stay listed as missing. You add one only by ticking that you've really done it — and degrees or certifications are never added for you.

Keywords in your real bullets

AI Optimise rewrites the lines that already show the work, in the job's words. Not a pile of terms pasted into your skills section.

Your score, before and after

See where your resume stands for this job, then see the new score once the tailored version is applied — before you send anything.

A format ATS can read

Download in a simple single-column template, as a PDF or an editable Word file. No tables, columns or icons that confuse parsers.

FAQ

Keyword checker questions.

Something else? See the full FAQ or pricing.

Is the ATS keyword checker free?

Yes, to start. You can see your match score without signing up. The free trial then gives you 3 scans over 3 days, with tailored rewrites included, and needs no card. After that, plans are one-time payments in INR with no subscription.

What does the checker show me?

Your match score out of 100 for that one job, the job's skills and keywords already on your resume, the ones missing with must-haves marked, and quick fixes for anything else holding the score back.

Which job sites does it work with?

Any. Copy the job description from Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Instahyre, a company careers page or an email from a recruiter, and paste the text in.

Should I just add the missing keywords to my resume?

Only the ones you've genuinely used. A keyword in your skills list that your experience doesn't back up won't survive a recruiter's read or an interview. The best place for a keyword is the bullet where you actually did that work.

What file formats does it accept?

Upload your resume as a PDF (up to 3 MB). The tailored version downloads as a PDF or an editable Word file.

Does it work for freshers?

Yes. Projects, internships, coursework and certifications all count as material to match against. We won't invent work experience, so for roles that ask for years of it, your score may honestly be lower.

Is my resume kept private?

Yes. Your resume and the job posts you check are visible only to your account, and they are never used to train AI models. The privacy policy has the full details.
